PANTAS-40 generic name is Pantoprazole and it is mainly used for the treatment of gastroesophageal Reflux Disease and peptic Ulcer Disease. Pantoprazole is a proton pump indicator that helps in reducing the level of acid production in our stomach which is called erosive esophagitis which is commonly caused in adults, generally the damage to the esophagus happens because of excessive and increased level of stomach acid( HCL).
Pantoprazole Sodium Tablet is also used to treat Zollinger Ellison Syndrome (ZES) which is also a disease associated with the production of excessive stomach acid inside our body. It prevents acidity with the action of painkillers. When the acid in our stomach increases below normal level then it creates indigestion and also heartburn, so intake of Pantoprazole helps in relieving all these symptoms and helps us to relieve from all stomach-related disease. It also treats Pathological Hypersecretory Conditions.
Although it takes 8 weeks prior stomach acid to recover to a normal level and heal the esophagus so that the stomach acid can properly digest food and does not cause heartburn and make patients relief from acidity and other major stomach diseases. Although side effects are not that much still someone can feel severe stomach pain and diarrhea which is watery or bloody, or an individual can experience sudden pain in the back, wrist, or hip joints.
